Musician : itoldyouiwouldeatyou
Album : Oh Dearism
Date Release : November 16th 2018
Publisher : Alcopop Records / Failure By Design Records

I remember talking of this band with Laura of Colour Me Wednesday while we were discussing about band's name. And she mentioned this band as one of the weird one that you could ever hear about (CMIIW Laura!). And yes the spelling and the band's name is totally weird but this doesnt mean that I dislike the name, its good somehow! Well lets just get over with the hype of Algernon Cadwallader reissue catalogues, please everyone give a place for this such a genius band, itoldyouiwouldeatyou.
Actually I've been listening to the band's tunes since their second EP 'Dont Cheer Up' but, you know, it seems like I dont pay attention too much about the band and I still being so plain about them and few times later I heard their latest EP 'Get Terrified'. Well that time later, would be my first hit to the band. 'Get Terrified' has been amazed me about how the band develop their sound to be more various and authentic.
Well honestly its been a boring time knowing mostly younger or new band hooked up with twinkle sound and they set their sound 'not so far' from the band they preach about. Its been great for knowing such band like itoldyouiwouldeatyou cuz you know as I the words laid on the previous sentence, this band has actually pave their own sound. You can say them as an emo band or emo-indierock leaning band BUT one of the thing you should know is they dont sound like any mostly band existed int his time and this proofs about how lovely they are!
Sometimes, you know, its good for listening an emo band fusing a quiet-loud post rock element correctly and by this I mean the band is still being straightforward and trying not to be overated by the term of post rock itself. And I think on this full length, the band not only put out post rock emo fused sound but also you can hear such a rich element of midwest thing (You can hear that heart cathartic horn sound on this full length YES!). Well as I started listening to this full length, my head speaks for two bands in related such as Arcade Fire on a more emotive version and This World Is A Beautiful Place And I'm No Longer Afraid To Die.
The full length is out on vinyl form if you would like to enjoy em on any analog version and its available on every digital store as I can mention such as Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, etc. Oh ya this full length is put out by the two great Britain labels such as Failure By Design and Alcopop (Whoa! Never know that Alcopop would produce any emo album).
