Aahhh finally after having so much abruption on lyfe specially when I talk about my broken car. Yes fucking flood that gets broke -_- OK lets just being positive about all these shitty things. My glass is on the way of being half full now lol. This time we have a record that put out on 2019 and yes with a snail spirit this crappy webzine just put out the review on 2020. First I would like to thank to Noel, the first guy who introduce me to the band called Holding Pattern. He chatted to me and saying 'hey you should be crazy for missing out to check Holding Patterns. Its the guy from Crash of Rhinos!'
Well I can say that this band has hooked me up since the first time I streamed to their first full length entitled 'Endless'. I can say I'm more into this one than Crash of Rhinos itself lol. Hopefully the last sentence I wrote doesnt cause anything worse. What should be loved from Holding Pattern is their magnificent songwriting that wrap from song to song along the album.
Always love an indierock band that putting out a good flowing of emotion beneath the song. I mean unlike any other indierock outfits nowadays that embracing an in-your-face Superchunk tunes, some bands like Crash of Rhinos, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, or This World Is A Beautiful Place blablabla, prefers to build so much momentum on their songwriting and this happens to Holding Patterns as well. Every songs in this full length is fully built by a flawless structures, momentums, and also a sweet chord progression.
Well though with any paragraphs that I wrote before kinda stating that this band is post rock leaned indierock but believe me they wont drop any 10-minute-minimal tunes #Thankgod. I dont know but Holding Pattern is the best UK indierock/emo scene could ever offerred of as for now. Am looking forward they'll make in the future full length and totally have a great expectation toward their music progression for the next album.
This full length is put out by the band itself and its available on vinyl, CD's, and many digital platforms like Spotify, Bandcamp, etc.
