Well this is awkward actually to write out this review because this is the first time that a Burger Records band contact this such a crappy music webzine lol. Yes the PR has just contacted me at the end of the year and probably she doesnt know that what I do here all the time is just goofing around about the bands and music that I love lol. This time we have Mozes and The Firstborn who just put out their third full length entitled 'DADCORE'.
Well this is weird actually cause I actually reinterprate the 'DADCORE' as a term of a pop punk band formed by family man :)) Yes you might say Iron Chic, Off With Their Heads, etc as a dadcore band. I don't know what 'DADCORE' for Mozes And The Firstborn stands for but... Hey what the hell am I talking about?! Sorry for sparing so much words for the 'Dadcore' shit okay! Oh ya one thing again is that the 'Dadcore' track features William Keegan and Danny Bengston from together PANGEA! Yes suprise suprise! I just discovered the band right when they had a tour along with Alkaline Trio and Ogikubo Station. Ah sorry I still goofing around with 'DADCORE' :(
Okay this time I swear I wont lay my words about 'DADCORE' anymore! As the story laid, Mozes And The Firstborn seems like already grabbed so much things along the way by embarked touring with several being known bands like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, together PANGEA, and The Growlers. And this been resulting into a good output for the latest they put now. 'DADCORE' has been a good source for you if you're looking kind of Guided by Voices that blended with a little powerpop vibe on the music.
