Ok ur next review stuff coming from one of the hottest stuff from the far south island and being stated as well as the safest and most peaceful place on earth, New Zealand, yes guys give a way for The Beths everyone! Well one thing I could remember musically from my head as the keyword 'New Zealand' popping up is a new metal band called Blindspot. I think anyone who live up with MTV Indonesia on the early 2000's might remember about this New Zealand band, I know its weird somehow to recollec some memory frames in my head about a new metal band and pour it out The Beths' full length writing! Pardon me for the behaviour!
So ya anyway the introduction of me with the band is when a Specialist Subject's IG story recomended 'Future Me Hates Me' LP and yes that time along I started to get hook up with the band. And yes I think anyone on this earth should love the LP and should take a time to listen to it before he/she dies. Its a lovely LP that you shouldnt miss to take a listen to.As being said that it takes 1 year since they put out the first full length to produce the the second full length and by this I can say that the band has a great work ethic, I mean producing one full length on a year for a band is a great thing to get achieve in my oppinion specially when your band are getting recognition which results into more dates for the tour schedule and more activities on the band. Well I mean taking a break for a band to endure the creative matters but being prolific is a privilege. Though the full length is made up quickly but 'Jump Rope Gazers' has proven that the band still get its quality to get represent. There's no progression made up obviously from 'Future Me Hates Me' to 'Jump Rope Gazers' but you know I think the band doesnt need to phase out their quality on the previous full length as long as the fans are happy for it and that goes for me for certain lol. I mean I'm totally contented that the band has retained its quality of songwriting from the previous full length. And oh yea I can pick out the track entitles 'Jump Rope Gazers' as the best song I could hear on my entire life and you should pick that one out just like me I guess lol.
Wondering that this band could be in one gig with some favorite acts like Martha, Colour Me Wednesday, Happy Accident, that should be hell one of a great gig I guess. This full length is out on Carpark Records, a subsidiary label of Warner Music Group that specializes putting out records from several big indierock acts like Toro Y Moi, Speedy Ortiz, or Beach House. The full length is available on vinyl and CD for the physical version and available everywhere digitally as well (Bandcamp, Spotify, etc). I think stuff is worth to be on my AOTY list :)
