Ok so its a bit different things to do, cause now I'm doing this music writing during my bike maintenance time lol. Yes I do this by a godpiece phone's notes haha! So ya thanks to the advance technology and civilization for just letting such a technophobe like me to do an update via phone's notes. Let say for my about 4 years of being a fan of Bomb The Music Industry/Other Jeff Rosenstock's musical project, this is my first writing about it. I'm so sorry sir for my lack of devotion for these 4 years going.
Well I first time I discovered the name, Jeff Rosenstock, was Bomb! The Music Industry and Quote Unquote Records back when I run a netlabel called StoneAge Records. And I think a dozen of fan would discover the same way as I do. Jeff Rosenstock is a briliant human as I could recognize on his stockpile of discography.Like you know how God might create a brain as genius and prolific as hell like he is! IDK how this guy try to survive from a so called burn out phase as being a musician. Like for the solo carrer itself, the full length 'NO DREAM' is enlisted as his fifth full length. Well you know the guy produced 5 full length and not including his other musical project like BTMI, Arrogant Son of Bitches, or Antarticgo Vespucci, can you imagine of how prolific this guy is!? I also wonder how his brain works and how this guy write his music and how come it flows like a godamn fountain!
In my oppinion, being signed by a god-level label like Polyvinyl is a price has to be paid for his devotion that been done so far. And as we know as well that Jeff Rosenstock has been a favorite on Pitchfork but you know who cares about that godamn thing as this guy up to this secod still producing an ass kickin record. In my oppinion, NO DREAM is a record you should listen to and I can claim that I have a more favorable feeling as I could compare from his previous full length 'POST-'. The record contains more energy than the previous one and you know I think everyone would love to hear Jeff Rosenstock on his ultra energetic sounds and I think he loves for what it is till death lol.
I have kinda feeling that if any label would do a Hits Collection or Best Songs Compilation for Jeff, that would be pain in the ass financially cause the label should do at least 3 LP's boxset to it, like you know who in the earth would put out best songs compilation for Superchunk. None in the earth would do, except Merge Records of course! Well if someone says that BTMI is the Fugazi of the internet age, please allow me to state Jeff Rosenstock as the Ian Mckaye (Well I know this line sounds stupid indeed lol).Sites :
