Well finally I could set my ass on again to do a writing for this shitty webzine after being wrecked up by the daily routines! Yea 2020 might be an upside down times for everyone but you know we all gotta live it through it. Ok enough for all those useless words being thrown and this time we have a NYC based band, Good Looking Friends, who just put out their new sick album entitled 'The Light of The Well' on April 2020. Yea you know thats what this webzine been good of, being a late bloomer lol.

Actually been set myself for a 'sight' toward the band since 2019 as they the first stuff I ever heard from the band is their 2018 collaboration album 'Balancing Acts' and to be honest I was not fascinating by the album lol but later on the band spilled their sneakpeak for the this full length entitled 'Euphoria' and that time on I kinda sense that the new stuff would an asskickin one. And it feels like winning a lucky dip to know that the band dropped a stuff you shall not missed!
Probably if Fest 2020 really ever existed, this band should be an act that everyone takes a notice to! 'Light of The Well' is a full length that is well executed stuff and has a well driven emotional curve. I mean I can sense that the band incorporate post rockish vibe in some ways. And yea of course what makes the album earns its 'status' is the instrumentation being incorporated, like as you can so for its credits that the album contributes many friends for having a fill up from violins, cello, trumpet, keys, etc. Well if you love some bands like This World Is A Beautiful Place...., Crash of Rhinos, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, etc. And yes I would say that emo with multi instrumentation would always be everyone's favor!
Their full length is available on CD by the band directly and Cassettes exculsively provided by We're Trying Records. Well you know unfortunately it hasnt been on any vinyl release yet! And of course the album is available on many digital platforms like bandcamp, spotify, etc.
