Album Review : Pinegrove - Marigold

Musician : Pinegrove
Album : Marigold
Date Release : January 17th 2020
Publisher : Rough Trade Records

Ok now we are heading into the album to be written, yes we are gladly writing a new stuff coming from one of our New Jersey's favorite thing, Pinegrove! Yes I think everyone should be excited welcoming new stuff from this New Jersey band. I mean like who's on the scene doesnt recognize or taking a listen into 'Skylight', specially if you're into Run For Cover stuffs.
So first I would to thank to Brian's playlist that always come up on the sidebar of my spotify desktop apps, cause for godsake he often played Skylight on a daily repeat lol! And that on I started for so curious about Pinegrove itself.
The album 'Skylight' has become the loveliest/the first hookup for me toward the band. And I think Evan Stephen Hall has somekind of magical hand which allows the country folk vibe infilatrating his emoish songwriting.
And 'Marigold' as I can say is a great comeback for the band though we know that Evan has gone through a sexual coercion accusation when the album 'Skylight' being released worldwide. Not going to say for what he has done is a right thing but you know music is still music. I can not lie, I'm sorry...
Well as I said previously Pinegrove was a Run For Cover band and maybe no more afyer that sexual coercion issue like remember on what happens to Whirr as they got accused for a racist issue $#! This probably happens to Pinegrove as well as they have a new home, Rough Trade, for 'Marigold' itself. The band still keep up with its magical vibe by combining death cab for cutie's emo/indierock songwriting with some ballads of folk country/americana vibes. It works well and still working well for 'Marigold'. IDK probably Evan was a folk country fan on his childhood and intensely listening to much emo/indierock stuffs during his teen years, but well I probably talk too much and being overated lol and being forgotten to say that Marigold is an album you should take a listen to.
The full length is available on vinyl, CD's, and Cassettes by Rough Trade and also available on much streaming and digital outlets like bandcamp, spotify, itunes, deezer, etc.
