Album Review : Adult Magic - Self Titled LP

Awrite! Finally got a moment to post some stuffs I would love to write about and yes I am trully love to write for this tiny crappy webzine. Nothing to expect about but looovee! That looks actually totally a bit gross but as a matter of fact this webzine is a total labour of love. And this time going to write about one of my favourite band and to be honest been waiting for them putting out their debut LP since years ago, here it comes Adult Magic. As being well introduced by their self titled EP which put out by their own self funding label, Dead Broke Rekerds, Adult Magic is a trio formed by three family man who are still into punk rock and being charged on the scene itself. They are Mike Bruno, Jesse Litwa, and Chris Arena, we all know that Mike himself is running a Dead Broke as well been active on bands like Iron Chic, Crow Bait, Sister Kisser, Get Bent, and so much more and Jesse Litwa who's in charge for Broadcaster as well.
This Long Island band has actually stole my attention since their first EP on 2016 and I think its relevant for the trio takes 3 long year to finish their LP cause as we know itself Iron Chic has a much more schedule to carry on and by the fact itself that Dead Broke Rekerds has been prolificly producing much punk records and I guess their first remarked tour just done on this June. And thats relevant as I might say as well.
Musically I can say that this LP is a favourable release this year to me personally and I'm totally being sattisfied as a fan and the one who's waiting for the band to produce their next stuff. Actually if you would like to compare their sound from their first EP, no significant changes occur buuuutttt their songs are still lovely. You can hear the vibe of alternative tunes in the vein of Sugar to Superchunk with the deep roots of Long Island orgcore vibe. And suprisingly I hear Mimi Galagher of Nona/Eight who fill up the female vocal for some songs like Demotivation and Popcorn, yes I this results a good output IMHO. Her voice is magical!
I dont know what to expect about the band as I have a feeling that this would be a 'side project' for each persons on it but at least they put out a full length, dont they! I'm feeling all accomplished to hear how this full length is. The full length is put out by the two of my favourite labels, Deadbroke Rekerds and Specialist Subject for Europe and UK distribution, on Vinyl. And I would not miss to say to you that the full length is also available on various digital services like Bandcamp, Spotify, etc.
