Album Review : Muncie Girls - B-Sides The Point

Musician : Muncie Girls
Album : B-Sides The Point
Date Release : March 10th 2020
Publisher : Specialist Subject

Okay still in a quarantine moment, well I tell you what writing is one of the therapy that could ease my anxiety toward these days which is full of uncertainty about how these days going to shape ur futures or what futures left for me, for us all. Ok to get rid of that now we have another Specialist Subject stuff to put out and this time we have Muncie Girls yay! I can say when you do a writing for one of your favorite band well I can say its been like a devotion, a damn total devotion.
They may recall this as a B-Side/Rarities but I cant make an agreement with that as a fan. I dont know why dont they just recall this as an EP though as stories being laid that these are the materials thats been leftovers on 'Fixed Ideas' recording session. I mean these materials is as good as being an EP lol.
Muncie Girls as I can say is on a culmination point as they put out the second full length, 'Fixed Ideals'. Well if you could make a comparation with their previous full length, 'From Caplan To Belsize', which seems they still on a search for putting out how the band should sound like. Though the materials still not drawing about how Muncie Girls gonna be like on their next moves but yet still this materials is too good if these materials going undone. Such a good move by Specialist Subject to put out these materials into public finally.
I would pick 'Rain' as a great materials and wondering why this song doesnt turn out to be the primary materials for the second full length. Or maybe, just maybe, the song is that good so it doesnt have a chemistry with another primary materials laid on 'Fixed Ideals'. The song has an infectious chorus that gonna stuck in your head as the first time you listen into the song.
The band has announced about their tour cancellation due to Covid-19 issue, and yes putting out a B-Side/Rarities stuffs to look up an alternative income is a definitely good move and yes this rarities is available on vinyl physically. I heard that the stocks are going low this time, so yes pick one for yourself. Or if you're living far abroad and no one going to stock this one at the record shop nearby, this release is available as well on bandcamp or available for online streaming on much online distributors like spotify, deezer, etc.
