Well this would be ur first time to review a big band today that I say still listen into and Joyce Manor probably one of the band that still hold a great sound after doing much much album on such a bigger label like Epitaph. Its funny somehow to remember I discovered this band, it was Toro the guy who tell me to listen to Joyce Manor cuz at that we have a jam on any band that never ever made any tunes or album today lol. And then yes I was into some Asian Man Catalogue and listening to their first debut, 'Leather Jacket' is the first crush I'm onto up to this day. TOTAL CLICHE!
Another one to be taken note is Joyce Manor has probably started everything earlier, before any so called a west coast invaded Fest sound. So yes please Mom Jeans or Get Married, you owe Joyce Manor so much in my view. Probably for certain people, this would be pretty boring to know that Joyce Manor still sounds on the same way on this album and not going anywhere further. Short songs, silly lyrics, and better melodies this time. But well to me thats the best offer you can get with Joyce Manor. They still know how to make fun on music writing and it doesnt seem to be much thinking of how it should sounds like on the later album. Well the subtle art of giving a fuck actually really works!
The new thing about this album is that I see 'Kurt Balou' is there as the sound engineer for the album. Its like 'That Kurt that produces so much heavy tunes like Kvelertak!', it is suprising indeed. We know what Kurt has done... And voila there you are Kurt produces an indierock leaning album. Life is like a box of chocolate, you'll never know whats in it. Another suprising thing about this album is its promotion, the ad is even appears on a spam pic on my VPN apps! YAY! Now thats what I recall as massive!
The album is available on vinyl and CD aannddd bundles package, and you know what Epitaph written above means... Its available on every digital store you deserve bandcamp, spotify, etc. I hope I can see them live someday oh dear me...
