Album Review : Woahnows - Young And Cool

Musician : Woahnows
Album : Young And Cool
Date Release : February 22nd 2019
Publisher : Specialist Subject

On such a so called tight working hours, yes I know it sux time after time, finally I can do the update for the music blog though I know that its been pretty late to review Woahnow's recent album. Its actually totally good to know as the band announced their next full length earlier this year cause as we know itself that the band has put a gap for four godamn years between their very first full length, 'Understanding And Everything Else', and the recent one that I'm going to write about, 'Young And Cool'. And I thought as they put out a single on 2016, there wouldnt a long time for them to put out the new stuffs.
Woahnows is actually one of the my early crush bands on Specialist Subject along with another one like Muncie Girls, Shit Presents, Bangers, Great Cynics, etc. Their first full length has totally put somekind of its own milestone to me personally cause as took a chance to listen to this album I was blown away by their songwriting that not only empasizing its quality on melodies and chord progressive but also their musical skill techniques. 'Understand And Everything Else' is such a nailed records and if you're a new one to listen to this, yes please go find yourself a time for taking a listen to it.
As being known, the band itself has made its debut on 2015's The Fest and yes if you see its live footage you'll know why I praise the band for its musical skill techniques. Musically I can say on the recent album, the band has taken some changes on their type of music writing. Comparing to its first full length where you can hear a faster-louder indiepunk tunes than they go much more melodious this time and more midtempo songs on it but this doesnt get me into a statement that this full length doesnt sattisfy me at all. YES THIS ONE IS STILL A GOOD BANGER! Let say songs like 'Dipping Out' or 'Skin Peels' that has attracted me and proofing that they're still 'that good' for being more melodious and midtempo.
This full length is out officially by one of most favourite indiepunk record label, Specialis Subject, on some fomats like 12", CD's, and digital form on bandcamp, spotify, iTunes, etc. So yes just make your path to listen to this full length!
